Hi everyone! Looking for something to do on the last day before winter break this year? Join A.S.I.A. for our annual Holiday Sing-Off this Friday, December 21st, from 6pm-8pm in the BLS Black Box! This year, we'll be "Snowed In" the school and pass the time by with all kinds of amazing musical talent from our wonderful students at BLS. Buy a ticket from any A.S.I.A. officer: $3 in advance and $5 at the door. Hope to see you all there!

Hey everyone! We hope you're all having a restful and relaxing Thanksgiving break! When school starts again, A.S.I.A. has another wonderful cultural event waiting for you: on Tuesday, November 27th, we will be holding "The Untold History of Asian-Americans" from 2:30-4:00pm in the Seevak Room. Come join us for an entertaining and educational presentation from featured speakers Peter Kiang, professor of cultural studies at UMass Boston, and Suzie Kim, Youth Programs Manager at Asian Community Development Corporation.

The history of Asian immigrants and their descendants in America is one too often brushed over without detail in most history curricula. Many Asian-Americans in the present day are unaware of their ancestors' collective experiences in this country. Thus, we invite you to join us for this important learning experience. Light refreshments will also be served. Hope to see you all there!

Are you ready for A.S.I.A.'s first cultural event of the year? Sushirama will be held next Tuesday, October 30th in the dining hall from 2:30 - 4:30! Come have fun with friends and learn to make sushi or onigiri with us! Immerse yourself in Japanese culture through an engaging lesson and possibly even win fun prizes! We will also be holding a raffle for even more goods. If you haven't already, make sure to buy your tickets from any A.S.I.A. officer for $3 or for $5 at the door on the day of the event. Hope to see you all there!
